What happened to the previous female winners of Project Runway?
By Yvette E
We are finally covering the last 3 female winners of project runway and we are surprised that some stop designing, others are still struggling and one is MIA.
Let’s take a look at what the most recent winners are doing.
Dom Streater – Season 12
Considering herself a slow fashion designer, Dom resides in Philadelphia. She also won a season of Project Runway Allstars (2016) and shows at CFDA’s Runway 360.
She reportly has a net worth of $1.5M to $5M. She has her own website, domstreater.com which is showcasing beautiful prints on silk fabric but mostly is famous for her tees. Prices range from $49 – $220.
She still recieves mentorship from the CFDA after winning in 2014.
Ashley Nell Tipton – Season 14
She released her own apparel and eyewear line in 2017 while becoming a consultant for plus size brands.
In Spetember 2020, she announced she will step away from fashion to launch a Youtube channel show called “Love You”. She is now teaching classes to women with unique body shapes. The class covers dressing options. She also sales cheap jewelry ($4.95?) and masks.
Ashley lives in San Diego, CA.
Erin Robertson – Season 15
Launching An_Erin right after the show, Erin has been continuing growing her business. In November 2021, she was interviewed by Business Insider about her success and her recent lanuch of at home nail dip kits which Heidi Klum reportly loves.
In 2017, Rue La La tapped Erin Robertson to curate and model for the online members-only website’s latest boutique, right after her win.
Not bad for a designer voted worst designer in top 6 by public opinion.
