Fashion week style guide

Fashion week starts next week in NY and if you are lucky enough to be invited. Here are a few things you should be wearing to get that coveted photo.

We are back from a long vacation and now we have fashion week on our minds! It is probably the only time I take my Alexander McQueen thigh highs for a spin or the furry mini Anna Sui skirt in the further reaches of my closet.

At any rate, we combed the internet to see what styles would get you photographed especially now with no spectators are allowed AND social distancing have increased the odds.

May the odds ever be in your favor!

From London to Milan, the white dress have dominated street style during fashion week.

The trick is the dress must have texture elements like lace, ruffles and applique. It has to be interesting. Notice they are all paired with a micro crossbody. We would stick to black since the monochromatic trend is still going strong.

Something about monochromatic animal prints that has us loving the look world wide! Of course, the separates look is the most daring but a good coat can still get you photographed!

High fashion has always been about mixing prints and we love the looks from paris, london and milan here. The most simplest on the left paired a graphic sweatshirt with a brocade skirt (Milan). This look is the easiest to pull off! In the middle, (london) different floral hues are artfully paired to appear to clash but the color schemes complement each other. Lastly, in Paris, we have plaid and animal print (treated as a neutral here) paired uniquely.
