For the Aqua Bendita show, TRESemmé created a wet look that was so versatile we knew it was for South beach.

How the look translates to the runway

Agua Bendita’s Swim 2013 Collection was inspired by “Lovely Heroes” and included a mix of a military, cowboy and marine influence with beads, appliques, sequins, bold colors and vintage-like prints with an infusion of green tones reminiscent of the rain forest and jungle. In order to bring this look from concept to runway, Elsa Canedo and Marc Pena (TRESemmé stylist) created tropical-inspired wet looking waves that were so versatile we knew it was just right for South Beach.

We stepped back stage to see how the look was done and received a first hand lesson from Elsa Canedo lead stylist for Tresemme.

To recreate this runway-ready style at home, follow the tips below from our TRESemmé stylists.

A closer look of the hair style

How-To Steps:

1. On slightly damp hair, part the hair from ear to ear and apply TRESemmé Ultra Firm Control Gel from the part to the crown.  Comb through with fingers.
2. Blow dry sides and front of hair straight back for a sleek wet look. 
3. Apply TRESemmé Split Remedy Sealing Serum to the ends working through the lengths of hair, but avoiding the roots.
4. Spray the gelled section at the top and sides of hair with TRESemmé TRES Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray, then set the style with a hit of hot air from the blow dryer.
