Stevie Boi adds futuristic clothing looks to his sunglasses line for a great opening to fashion week.

I’m back and NY fashion week has been filled with stand out pieces that finally are worth reporting on. It seems the fashion industry has finally heard our plea; we want fashion to be creative and not boring. Stevie Boi understood the assignment with asymmetrical looks, unique mix of materials and jaw-dropping sunglasses that have everyone looking like a celebrity.
There was a diverse customer base with looks for men, women and plus size women. The men looks seem to be the best in my opinion with netting detail, leather accents and muted colors with a sheen that gave it futuristic vibes.

I loved in particular the asymmetrical peacock blue suit jacket where one sleeve was long and the other was normal length. The other sleeve has a lizard print leather patch and a smooth leather patch where the other sleeve crazed the floor. A look he championed before Rick Owens.

For women, a variety of leather looks graced the installation. The accessories seem to outshine the clothes. A sequin scarf moment made the outfit of one look. It featured a faux leather bandeau top and black legging. Another look that was a faux leather halter top got saved from obscurity by a paisley neckerchief and a yellow tint shield with crystal accents.

There was also a plus size look with a sequin dress but had a bat belt that made it slightly costume. However, the silhouette featured a high split and a low cut V drop showcasing cleavage. Usually, it is a faux bah to show both legs and cleavage but somehow it works.
